TitleTermsConditionsAll our products are handmade, therefore they can have subtle variations to the images shown.  This is caused by variations in the material being used as well as the handcrafting.  They are one of a kind creations and not mass produced in a factory, this makes each piece individual and unique.

All products meet Australian Standards. Please ensure you read any instructions included with your product for proper use & warnings against possible misuse.  All products are not suitable for children under the age of 3 years old.  Hazy Tales products used on children should always be supervised.  Hazy Tales can not be held accountable for any misuse of products.

ORDERS

All orders placed with Hazy Tales will be processed with PayPal or Tyro.

EVENTS- Ticket terms and conditions:

The studio may from time to time photograph/film its events for use in future publicity and marketing materials for the promotion of the organisation. If you do not wish your photograph to be published, please inform us at info@hazytales.com.au at the time of making your booking.

The Clay and Candlelight classes are for 18 years and over.  Family private classes can be booked for a minimum of 6 full paying spots.

Due to numbers required to run a class no refund can be offered. Before purchasing tickets, carefully review your event and ticket selection. No refund or exchange on any ticket will be given or service fee except during cancellation or rescheduling, or relocation of an event by the seller, or circumstances required by Live Performance Australia code of practice for Event Ticketing (www.liveperformance.com.au) given that the customer has requested an exchange within a reasonable time and provide valid proof of purchase. Exchange liability is limited to the total amount of the ticket purchase (including any fees or charges). The seller is not liable for expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation.

We cannot offer you a refund if you can no longer attend an event or any personal circumstances, however you may give your tickets to another person to use.  (At Hazy Tales if we have a waiting list and can fill your place we will try. You can also sometimes transfer to a future session if enough notice has been given to fill your spot). Last minute cancellations to avoid disappointment please do not ask for a refund, as a small business a certain number of spots are required to cover outgoings etc and keep this business going.

For larger private groups if enough notice is given we can definitely change the date.

If a ticketholder is unable to attend an event because they are unwell or other personal circumstance, they are not entitled to an automatic refund under Australian consumer law. However, event organisers always have discretion to provide an exchange or other remedy, if they wish, even though there may not be a legal requirement to do so. So please see below for COVID terms.

Please be considerate of these terms. As a comparison if you book a ticket for a music concert and cannot attend and you or your fried don’t fancy going out that night, or have gone right off the artist for some reason, you are not entitled to a refund, you would have to sell on your ticket. And that is a big company making lots of money, I am a small business dependent on small numbers to proceed.

COVID

If you are unwell however, please prove it with a medical certificate or proof from a from a state health authority and we can offer a new date.

GIFT VOUCHERS

These are strictly valid for 12months.  As a small business it is very hard to be able to offer any longer than this.  I often have people contact the business at the 12.5 month mark to ask to be still valid.  Please ensure you book before this.  This has now gone into a different tax year so it is very hard as a small business to allow them to be valid after this time. This is really appreciated.

EVENT ORGANISERS Hazy Tales Studio may reserve the right of:

Admission to events, latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break.

To change/withdraw any event, event times, dates or published prices or programs without notice.  Changes to Event prices, times and dates will be advised before the event start date and any event already paid in full will not be subject to the increased price.   Where an event has been cancelled, participants will be offered an alternative date for the same event, a credit towards another event or a refund.

PRODUCT REFUNDS & RETURNS

All products are checked before they are sent to you.  So in the unlikely event a product has a defect, please contact Hazy Tales Studio by email with an image and details of the fault & date of purchase.  If it is found to be faulty a replacement will be given.

For any breakages that occur in transit please email within 2 days of receipt and include an image of the broken product and the packaging.  A replacement will be made.

We do not accept refunds for breakages that occur after use.

For change of mind refunds & exchanges please return the item in the same condition you received them.  The request for this must be made within 7 days of receipt of the product.  Postage for the return and replacement must be covered by you. It is advisable to send with tracking.  Once the item is received an exchange or refund will be given.

PRODUCT DELIVERIES

For items that are in stock these will be delivered within 2 days.  For any product that states you can backorder, please contact the studio for the time frame for delivery.  If you order an item on backorder or a custom product, the studio will contact you by email to advise of the delivery time frame.

For all  items postage is calculated by the size & weight of the products and location address.  Postage is either with a courier or Australia post.

For International orders & postal boxes these are made with Australia post.  International orders will take 5 to 7 days to arrive and you will receive a tracking number.

CERAMIC PRODUCTS 

All tableware is made with stoneware or mid-fire clay which is high fired to 1200-1280 degrees celsius making it dishwasher and microwave safe.  All glazes used on tableware products and all products at the studio are food safe.  Products made with earthenware clay are fired to 1180 degrees celsius.  Where there is glaze on the earthenware product it is not porous though the areas with no glaze are porous.  Handle your products with care due to the fragile nature of them.

LEATHER PRODUCTS

All leather used in the jewellery ranges is from a supplier who sources leather from the best local and international tanneries, meaning that the leather products can be trusted for their reliability, range and high quality.  Their partners adhere to the Australian Manufacturing Standards and conform to the ISO 14001 certification for environmental excellence. They are committed to maintaining ethical environmental business practises.
